Last night D2 was weird (and frustrating) as fuck for me too. Wasn’t nightfall but rather Pit of Heresy, slow comfy solo just for pinnacle. Enemies were like taken on crack, appearing and disappearing constantly. And frequently damage effects from guns, armor, etc would only proc after like 3-8 seconds.
